At Sunny Eddy, we believe the planet's health is intrinsic to a healthy lifestyle. We actively choose the most sustainable and responsible packaging we can. Not only is all of our packaging free of plastics and 100% recyclable, we strive to use packaging made from the highest amount of recycled material we can source - from the aluminium in our cans to the cardboard for our 4-packs and cartons. The colours and dyes we use for that packaging are non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
But even as we conscientiously aim to source the most eco-minded materials and ingredients, we know we can do more for the planet and its oceans.
This is why we are proudly supporting Coastcare. After all, our health relies on a healthy planet, and we still have a long way to go.
Landcare Australia’s Coastcare program supports a community volunteer network of groups and individuals made up of Australians who care passionately about the protection and management of our coastal and marine environments. Coastcare volunteers and groups identify local environmental problems and work together with government, local businesses, First Nations organisations, youth groups, schools and community groups to achieve practical and sustainable solutions.
Thousands of volunteers from across the country are part of Coastcare – they include Landcare, Bushcare, ‘Friends of’, Dunecare, Beachcare, Wildcare and any other community-led volunteer group working on conservation activities along the Australian coastline.
The conservation activities of the volunteers include dune erosion, loss of native coastal plants and animals, storm water pollution, weeds and control of human access to sensitive and vulnerable areas, and education programs for the broader public about issues affecting coastal and marine areas.
